There were a series of spanish civils wars of political origin during the XIX century between the Carlists band and Carlos María Isidro de borbón's band and their descendants and the liberals of Isabel II.
There were three wars:
The First Carlist War (1833-1840)
The Second Carlist War (1846-1849)
The Third Carlist War (1872-1876)
